Guidelines

R3 Nordic is proud to announce the publication of a new guideline on Hospital Ventilation.

The guideline is written by a group of Nordic experts from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden who have decades of international experience in the field. For several years, the authors of this document have had a common understanding of the solid foundation for hospital ventilation design that has now been published in this common guideline for the Nordic countries.

This design guide provides advice and a solid basis for the design and verification of the technical performance of ventilation systems. It also provides advice to users to assess the realization of key indoor parameters and quality assurance of system performance throughout its life cycle. The guideline describes basic requirements for the appropriate design of ventilation systems for hospital applications and expresses what is considered best practice in the field at the time of publication.

The published guideline is continuously maintained by the R3 guideline section to make them living documents that can include new developments and feedback from the field.
